Cooling towers can be combined in several combinations to make the cooling more effective compared to the current space. Vestas aircoil cooling towers are open cooling towers and named OCT.
The OCT04 to OCT09 indicates the size of the towers and the following describes the combination of cells. OCT09HB01-1 is a tower with high bottom pan, one cell in one row and OCT09WB02-2 is a tower with dummy bottom, two cells in two rows ect.
Silencers
To comply with a specific noise requirement, the OCT cooling towers can easely be build up with silencers to reduce the noise level. Pre-fabricated moduls of silencers are simply to mount upon an existing tower.
