Water mist catchers / Water separators

Vestas aircoil has been manufacturing water separators or water mist catchers since they were first introduced.

Our water mist catchers are manufactured from stainless steel AISI 304.  

We use a fully welded constructions so that every vane is bonded to the support struts, thus making the water separator far more robust than other types where there is no welding.

We supply for both newbuildings and replacement / spares market.

Vestas can also replace water mist catchers for other specifications. We just need a drawing in order to quote.

In October 2006 MAN Diesel / Vestas developed a new design. Here the welding is even more extensive around the vanes and the material thickness is increased giving a longer product life time.
