Huge marine diesel engine with charge air cooler from Vestas Aircoil

One of the larger marine diesel engines with charge air coolers made by Vestas aircoil!

The engine is an MAN Diesel 12K98 ME-C9.2. Max RPM is 72/min, which delivers an output of 124,000 BHP, or roughly the same as 1,000 VW Passat cars!

 

In the bottom right of the picture, you can see the Vestas Charge air cooler division manager, Michael Døj. He was present to sign off the delivery personally on this occasion.
