Cleaning
We provide specialist cleaning to remove scale, grease, fouling and other deposits that
restrict flow and reduce heat transfer performance.
Depending on the equipment and type of contamination, cleaning methods may include:

- Shot blasting where appropriate

Where inspection or pressure testing identifies leakage, wear or mechanical damage, we can carry out
targeted repairs to restore the integrity and reliable operation of the heat exchanger.
Repair work may include:
- Tube plugging or individual tube replacement
- Weld repairs
- Repair or remachining of damaged sealing faces
- Removal and refitting of tube bundles
- Replacement of gaskets, bolting and damaged components
- Re-gasketing of plate heat exchangers and plate coolers

Complete overhaul
For equipment requiring more extensive attention, we provide a complete overhaul covering the
full process from disassembly and condition assessment to reassembly and final testing
A complete overhaul can include:
- Disassembly of the heat exchanger
- Cleaning of individual components
- Visual inspection and non-destructive testing where required
- Condition reporting and repair recommendations
- Repair or replacement of identified components
- Reassembly with new gaskets and bolting
- Final pressure testing and certification
The overhaul can be coordinated with a nominated inspection body where required.
If the existing unit is no longer technically or economically viable to restore, Vestas aircoil
