Vestas Aircoil:
Vestas aircoil, with headquarters in Lem, Denmark, is a well-consolidated, profitable multinational company with about 400 employees spread across Denmark, China, Romania and the USA. Vestas aircoil has designed and manufactured coolers since 1956. Since then, we have developed into a global leader in providing high-performance and reliable engine cooling systems to the world's largest engine manufacturers. Vestas aircoil has transformed itself from a traditional forging company to a modern technology-driven company, and we continue to invest further in R&D. At Vestas aircoil, we want to continuously develop, through high levels of quality and service, by developing and delivering customer-driven solutions matching market requirements and expectations. Our mission is to be a unified, global, market-leading company.
Team/division description
You will be a part of the advanced R&D laboratory in Denmark, where we develop new technology and solutions. The R&D lab - Center of Excellence is a testing facility with experimental equipment and specialised hardware/software tools. Vestas aircoil also has a large charge air cooler test rig able to test small- and medium-sized coolers under operating conditions. Concerning computational infrastructure, we have dedicated workstations for numerical simulations and expertise in setting up efficient numerical simulations. The R&D team at Vestas aircoil consists of seven personnel. The majority of our employees have academic backgrounds and qualifications corresponding to a long cycle of higher education (PhD). We value the 'R' aspect of R&D as much as we value the development. The R&D team at Vestas aircoil offers a dynamic multicultural, multidisciplinary work environment and the opportunity to be part of a team where creativity and curiosity play an important role. You will benefit from thorough on-the-job development, coaching and training. We have a long tradition of mentoring and assisting multinational research students; for example, see here.
